Claims Manager / Case manager (Referral Officer)

As a Referral Officer you will be responsible for a portfolio of active referrals and will co-ordinate the entire process from receipt of a new referral until it is fully completed and delivered to our clients.

The referral process includes, reviewing new referrals, liaising with clients, assembling documentary materials, reviewing draft reports by our specialist consultants and co-ordinating the on-time finalisation and delivery of those reports.

You will work closely with our technical, R&D and customer service teams and our team of external specialist consultants.

To succeed in this role you will need:

• Strong time management skills

• Excellent communication skills

• An ability to work well with people and to develop business relationships

• The capacity to apply guidelines

• Good computer skills in Microsoft office and a willingness to learn new computerised file management systems.

Your attention to detail and willingness to work as part of a team will hold you in good stead, as will your experience and working knowledge of personal injury, Workers Compensation, CTP or Life Insurance.

This is a full time position– Monday to Friday.

The role would suit an existing case manager working in Workers Compensation, CTP or Life Insurance, or someone with experience in rehabilitation.
